IDIL Fibres Optiques designs and manufactures various Fiber Bragg Gratings (FBG) profiles including uniform FBG, chirped FBG, blazed FBG, FBG arrays and FBG packaging including bare fiber FBG and athermal FBG. Our products cover a wide wavelength range: from 1000 nm to 1800 nm.
IDIL can work from every type of fibers and supply every type of connectors. Our team calculates and designs the profile of FBG. We also characterize and realize multiplexed FBG (cf. opposite) with several gratings on the same optical fiber (from 1 to about 20) which can be close as a few millimeters or separated by a few kilometers.
Our FBG lead to numerous applications in the fields of fiber lasers (high power and low noise lasers), high power amplifiers, sensors (acoustic, interferometry, spectroscopy) and telecommunications (DWDM) among others.

Wavelength-selective mirrors or Fiber Bragg Gratings consist of selecting only a very precise wavelength thanks to an optical mirror which was firstly photo-imprinted into an optical fiber. Different types exist:
This technology is a key component for fiber lasers. FBG can be used as a High reflector (HR) and Output Coupler (OC) to make a laser cavity in a fiber laser.
